Intakes
Bristol operates on a two-term (Teaching Block) structure, aligning with the broader UK academic calendar. The Autumn (Michaelmas) term begins in mid-September, followed by the Spring term starting in January. For the 2025/26 cycle, Welcome Week is scheduled from 15 to 19 September 2025, with the first teaching block running 22 September–12 December, and the second block starting 19 January–24 April 2026. Undergraduate entry is via UCAS: applications can be submitted from early September, with the equal consideration deadline on 31 January, and a final closing date of 30 June for most programs. Courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science have an earlier UCAS deadline of 15 October.
